Meet these pets of the week at Burke County Animal Services.
Goodnight Moon: This girl is spayed. She is doing great with other cats and is an absolute sweetheart. She loves to cuddle and play.
Charlotte’s Web: This gorgeous lady is also spayed. She is best friends with Goodnight Moon and is the more laid back of the two. She would prefer to sit on your couch and make sure that her kingdom is running to standard.
Bella: This sweet lady seems to be doing well around other animals and is an absolute sweetheart to play and cuddle with. She would love a couch to cuddle with you on and a yard to play in. She is one of our newer residents.

Flip Flop: This cutie pie does amazing with other dogs and loves to play. She would do great in a multi-dog home with lots of activity. Her favorite thing here is toys and playgroups. However, she does love the occasional nap.
All adoptions include up-to-date vaccines, preventatives, a spay or neuter, and dogs will be heartworm tested.
Animal Services is in need of food donations for its community pet food bank, which goes to help pets of those in need. Donations can be dropped off or mailed to Burke County Animal Services at 425 Kirksey Drive, Morganton, NC 28655.
Those in need of pet food can stop by Animal Services and fill out a one-time informational form and let them know what you need.
